WELCOME TO THE KANKAKEE COUNTY MAKER'S MART

“Our mission is to inspire creativity and support education by providing free, sustainable resources to local teachers. Through the collection and redistribution of gently used art supplies, we empower educators, enrich classrooms, and foster AFFORDABLE artistic expression in our community.”

We are a creative reuse store.  We are like a thrift store, but ONLY sell art and craft supplies! We have a free teacher room for local educators (public, private, homeschool, daycare, Sunday school, college, activity directors, anyone who has to buy their educational materials out of their own pockets) and students in need. We are open to the public. We have a Crafter Park in the back yard. It is a park centered around making, in memory of the founder's late grandmother, Maryann.
